Fauna Marin Balling Light Carbonate-Mix KH is a high-purity reef aquarium supplement developed to maintain stable carbonate hardness (KH), support coral skeletal growth and help maintain consistent water chemistry.
As SPS and LPS corals grow, they consume alkalinity. Regular supplementation helps prevent fluctuations that can affect coral health, growth and colouration.

Recommended Preparation
For the Fauna Marin Balling Light KH solution:

Dissolve 500g Carbonate-Mix in approximately 3 litres of reverse osmosis water.

Add 25ml Fauna Marin Balling Light Trace 3 Health.

Top up with RO water to a final volume of 5 litres.

Mix thoroughly and dose according to your aquarium's alkalinity consumption.
Dosing reference: Approximately 10ml of prepared solution per 100 litres raises alkalinity by 0.5 dKH.
Fauna Marin recommends maintaining KH at approximately 6.5–8 dKH, with regular testing to determine individual requirements.
Important Information
Dose the prepared KH solution separately from calcium and magnesium supplements to avoid precipitation. Follow the manufacturer's Balling Light instructions and avoid sudden alkalinity changes.
Store the dry salt tightly sealed and protected from moisture.
