Why Choose TMC EcoReef Rock?
TMC EcoReef Rock gives you the appearance and structure of natural reef rock while providing a sustainable alternative to rock taken from wild reef environments.
Handcrafted using naturally occurring, non-toxic land-based materials, each piece is designed to recreate the shapes, textures and structures found within natural reefs.
Highly Porous for Biological Filtration
EcoReef Rock isn't simply decorative. Its highly porous structure provides extensive surface area for beneficial bacteria, allowing the rock to become an important part of your aquarium's biological filtration as your reef matures.
Starting with dry EcoReef Rock also gives you greater control over what enters your aquarium, avoiding many of the unwanted pests and organisms that can occasionally arrive with untreated natural materials.
Designed for Aquascaping
From caves and overhangs to shelves, branches and open reef structures, the EcoReef range makes it easy to create an aquascape with plenty of character while maintaining good space around your rockwork for water movement and fish.
The varied surfaces, terraces and fissures also provide excellent locations for positioning coral frags and allowing colonies to develop as your reef matures.
EcoReef Centrepieces
For an instant showpiece, the TMC EcoReef Centrepiece range provides spectacular handcrafted reef structures without the difficulty of constructing complex formations from individual rocks.
Available in a variety of sizes and designs, the Centrepieces incorporate natural-looking columns, shelves, terraces, caves and overhangs, with larger models formed from interlocking sections for straightforward installation.
Build Your Reef Your Way
Whether you're creating a compact nano reef or a large display aquarium, the EcoReef range gives you the freedom to build a reef structure around your aquarium and livestock.
Choose from EcoReef Rock Mixes, Nano Mixes and individual Centrepieces, or combine different styles to create your own completely unique aquascape.
