Acceptance of Terms & Conditions

Placing an order through this website is deemed to constitute your acceptance of our Terms & Conditions. If you do not understand any of these terms please contact us before you place an order. When you have placed an order, please print out a copy of our acclimatisation guide to ensure you introduce your fish to your tank with the minimal stress.

Please ensure you thoroughly research the needs and compatibility of the livestock before buying. This is your responsibility.

Prices

Prices and any delivery costs will be as stated and will include value added tax at 20%. We reserve the right to increase the prices of the products periodically to reflect any increased costs. If for any reason your order value is calculated incorrectly due to website software failure, we will inform you of the correct price and ask you to confirm whether you still want to go ahead with the order. We reserve the right to cancel orders that have not calculated correctly due to a software error.

Security & Privacy

At Rock ‘N’ Critters, we know that you demand the highest level of security for your online transactions. Rock ‘N’ Critters does not have access to your credit and debit card details, which are sent directly to PayPal who are our payment service providers. All credit and debit card information submitted within the order process is secured within 128-bit encrypted sessions to ensure that your personal and sensitive information is kept safe. You can tell when a page requesting payment details is secure as “https” appears in the address window of your browser and also a small padlock will be displayed.

All the personal details that you provide (e.g. your name, address, and credit / debit card number) are used solely to process the transaction. We do not sell your information to any third party. Neither do we trade or share your details with any third party. All credit and debit card information is processed by Paypal, who are approved payment solutions providers. Rock ‘N’ Critters does not have any access to your credit / debit card information.

Cancellation

You may cancel any orders up until the goods are ready for dispatch; this is usually once we are in receipt of your order and payment has been accepted. Should you wish to cancel an order, please call us without delay on 01446 737210

The items you wish to order can be paid for using Paypal, which accepts all credit and debit cards including Solo.

Livestock Delivery

At Rock ’N’ Critters, we are proud to deal in only the finest quality marine livestock. We do not recommend our customer have their livestock delivered. However, if you have acknowledged the conditions below, we will ship via courier services. Please note, as per courier companies conditions, they do not offer insurance, nor guarantee 100% timed deliveries. Due the these conditions, Rock N Critters cannot offer an 'arrive alive' guarantee.

To ensure the best possible survival rate, we always check our livestock before packing and dispatch. We never send unhealthy specimens. Firstly, we ensure livestock has been well settled. We use the appropriate packaging, we use oxygen to fill the bag, and heat packs whenever necessary.
