Iron is an essential micronutrient involved in photosynthesis, enzyme activity and cellular metabolism. It plays an important role in the biological processes of photosynthetic organisms, including marine algae and the symbiotic algae found within corals.

Recommended Dosage
1ml per 100 litres increases iron by 0.004ppm (4µg/L).
Maximum daily increase: 0.001ppm (1µg/L).
This maximum is equivalent to approximately 0.25ml per 100 litres daily.
Always establish your aquarium's iron concentration before supplementation and calculate the required dose using its actual water volume.
Important Information
Iron is required in extremely small quantities. Excessive supplementation may encourage unwanted algae growth and harm sensitive reef organisms.
Only dose when testing indicates a genuine requirement. ICP analysis can assist with trace element management, although very low iron concentrations may be difficult to measure reliably.
For accurate monitoring, we recommend Fauna Marin ICP testing alongside regular aquarium water testing.
