Complete Pellet Food Specifically for LPS Corals
Vitalis LPS Coral Pellets are a soft, highly digestible and nutritionally balanced food developed specifically for large polyp stony (LPS) corals.
Unlike liquid, powdered and micronised coral foods that disperse throughout the aquarium, these 1.5mm pellets are designed for direct feeding, allowing individual LPS corals to capture and ingest a substantial food particle.
Developed Around the Way LPS Corals Feed
Large polyp stony corals possess feeding mechanisms capable of capturing relatively large food particles.
Vitalis developed these pellets specifically around that behaviour, with their small size designed to emulate the suspended particulate matter encountered naturally within reef environments.
The pellets are also soft and slow sinking, making them easy for the coral to capture and digest while encouraging a natural feeding experience.
Ideal for Direct & Target Feeding
Vitalis recommends carefully placing pellets onto the oral disc of the coral.
The coral should respond by expanding and extending its feeding tentacles before grabbing and enveloping the pellets. Once the food has been ingested, the coral will gradually return to its normal appearance.
This makes feeding particularly rewarding because you can actually observe the coral capture and consume its food.
Feeding Guide
Vitalis recommends feeding every other day.
Carefully place an appropriate amount of pellets onto the oral disc of the coral.
A coral feeding pipette or suitable feeding tool can make accurate placement easier, particularly with corals positioned deeper within the aquarium.
Ensure the coral has sufficient surrounding water movement to allow any uneaten food particles to be carried away, and avoid overfeeding.

Feed the Coral – Not Just the Aquarium
With many liquid and powdered coral foods, a proportion of the food inevitably disperses throughout the system.
Vitalis LPS Coral Pellets offer a much more direct approach: place the food where it's needed and watch the coral capture it.
For fleshy, actively feeding LPS corals, that makes feeding both controlled and incredibly satisfying to watch.
Target the coral. Watch it feed. Give your LPS something to get its tentacles around.
Formulated for all large polyp stony coral species.
