Overall better experience
Black Sea Cucumber also known as the White Spotted Sea Cucumber or Donkey Dung make a great addition to your aquariums clean up crew as they will sift through detritus caught up in the sand bed and aquascape.
Livestock arrives in and out of stock very regularly, depending upon availability of the item from the source. The more rare and expensive items are often difficult to hold in stock, and can take time to source, so we generally require a deposit to locate and purchase the extremely rare items
The Black Sea Cucumber has a long black body with a few spots. It lives in the sandy bottom, often partially covered with sand. The Black Sea Cucumber needs to be kept with peaceful tank mates. Do not overstock an aquarium with the Black Sea Cucumber. In general, keep only 3 inches of worm for every 80L of aquarium water.
It is very sensitive to high levels of copper-based medications and will not tolerate high nitrate levels. If it is attacked or injured, it will expel its internal organs, which can be toxic to fish. After the Black Sea Cucumber escapes, it will regenerate those organs, although this regeneration rarely occurs in an aquarium setting.
They feed by sifitng detrius found in the sand bed and live rock scape help keeping your aquarium detritus free.
