Soft Calanus-Rich Pellets
Calanus Soft Sinking Pellets 1mm are a high-quality aquarium food packed with Calanus and formulated with added vitamins and minerals.
Naturally rich in the omega fatty acids EPA, DHA and SDA, these soft pellets provide an excellent everyday food for marine, tropical and coldwater fish.
Soft, Sinking & Versatile
Unlike a conventional hard pellet, Calanus Pellets are soft enough to be used in several different ways.
• Feed the 1mm pellets loose
• Mould them together for larger fish
• Form into a ball and attach to the aquarium glass
• Use with an automatic feeder
This makes one food suitable for different fish sizes and feeding behaviours.
Calanus-Rich Nutrition
The formulation combines Calanus, fish and fish derivatives, minerals, vegetable-derived ingredients, molluscs, crustaceans, oils and fats.
The pellets are manufactured using low pressure and low heat, producing a soft food while retaining the distinctive qualities of Calanus.
1mm Pellet Size
The small 1mm pellet is particularly useful for small to medium fish and mixed communities.
For larger fish, several pellets can simply be moulded together to create a larger mouthful rather than requiring a completely different food.
How to Feed
Feed loose into the aquarium, mould into larger pieces or form into a ball and attach to the aquarium glass.
The manufacturer recommends feeding 2–3 times daily, offering only as much as your fish can consume within approximately three minutes.
