Premium Nutrition for Omnivorous Marine Fish
EasyReefs DKI Marine is a premium complete food developed specifically for the nutritional requirements of omnivorous marine fish from coral reef environments.
Unlike a conventional fish-meal-based pellet, DKI Marine is primarily made from freeze-dried Palaemonetes varians shrimp, combined with marine algae to create a highly distinctive everyday diet.
Shrimp & Microalgae-Based Recipe
The formulation combines freeze-dried shrimp with the macroalgae Ulva and Chondrus, plus four carefully selected microalgae:
• Nannochloropsis
• Tetraselmis
• Phaeodactylum
• Isochrysis
These ingredients naturally provide marine proteins, essential fatty acids, vitamins, pigments and other valuable micronutrients.
DKI Marine contains no terrestrial plant or animal ingredients, artificial attractants, artificial preservatives or synthetic products.
Neutral-Buoyancy Pellets
One of DKI Marine's biggest advantages is its unusual neutral buoyancy.
Rather than immediately floating at the surface or dropping to the substrate, the pellets remain accessible through the water column, giving marine fish more opportunity to find and take the food.
The pellets can also be pre-moistened with aquarium water when faster sinking is preferred for bottom-feeding fish.
Naturally Attractive to Marine Fish
The combination of shrimp and marine algae gives DKI Marine its characteristic natural aroma, helping encourage a strong feeding response without relying on artificial attractants.
Use it as a complete everyday diet or rotate with appropriate frozen and live foods for additional feeding variety.
How to Feed
EasyReefs recommends feeding 2–3 times daily, offering only the amount your fish can consume within approximately two minutes.
Feed directly by hand or through an automatic feeder.
