A Frag Rack That Looks Like Part of Your Reef
The Tunze Coral Rack combines the practicality of a coral frag rack with the natural appearance of reef rock, providing an attractive way to display, grow and position coral frags within your aquarium.
Instead of using a conventional plastic or acrylic shelf, the Coral Rack is manufactured from highly porous ceramic with a Live Rock Function, allowing it to integrate naturally into your aquascape.
Designed for Coral Frags
Dedicated indentations accommodate coral fragments and standard Reef Plugs of approximately 11mm diameter, keeping your corals securely positioned while they grow.
Choose between two sizes:
Coral Rack Nano – accommodates approximately 6 coral fragments or Reef Plugs.
Coral Rack Long – accommodates approximately 8 coral fragments or Reef Plugs.
This makes the Coral Rack ideal for displaying new coral frags, growing colonies or simply creating additional coral placement areas when your main rockwork is becoming full.
Strong Magnetic Mounting
Powerful magnetic holders allow the Coral Rack to attach directly to the aquarium glass without permanently fixing it into your aquascape.
The Nano model can be mounted on aquarium glass up to 15mm thick, while the larger Long model uses two magnetic holders and is designed for glass up to 12mm thick.
The magnetic design also allows you to position the rack at a suitable height within the aquarium for the lighting and water flow requirements of your corals.
Highly Porous Ceramic
The natural-looking ceramic structure is highly porous, providing additional surface area that can become biologically active as the aquarium matures.
Over time, coralline algae and coral growth can help the rack blend even further into the surrounding reef, transforming a practical frag holder into part of the aquascape itself.
