The Allard's Clarkii Clownfish has a brownish orange base colour with white stripes and an deep tan coat when full grown. The juvenile Allard's Clarkii Clownfish are yellowish orange in colour with white stripes on each side of the body similar to the Clarkii Clownfish.
The female will be the largest of the pair, and two fish will usually stay close to each other in the aquarium. These fish are egg layers and will deposit the eggs on a flat surface, and defend the eggs from other tank mates. The eggs will normally hatch in 6-11 days depending on the temperature. The fry must be reared in a separate aquarium on a diet of rotifers then baby brine shrimp.
Allard's Clarkii Clownfish do well in an aquarium containing almost any anemone type, In nature they are found to host Bubble Tip Anemones, Aurora Anemones and Carpet Anemones. It is semi-aggressive towards other clownfish and passive tank mates.
The Allard's Clarkii Clownfish diet consists of almost any chopped meaty food items and herbivore preparations.
