Black Snapper should not be kept with other overly aggressive fish species as they will usually nip at their long fins.

More than one Black Snapper can be kept in an aquarium with plenty of open swimming space.

They should be offred a diet of chopped meaty foods such as prawn, mussel, cockle and fish.
