The Blue Ring Angel Fish has brilliant sapphire stripes over a predominantly brown body and whitish-blue tail.
Provide plenty of hiding places such as caves and live rock for grazing. They may nip at sessile invertebrates directly at the base such as nudibranchs, corals, and tridacnid clams. As such, the Blue Ring Angel Fish maynot make a good reef dweller. Considered semi-aggressive, the Blue Ring Angel Fish may become territorial once acclimated to the tank.
All Angelfish are considered hermaphroditic, and visibly, it is not possible to differentiate males from females.
The diet of the Blue Ring Angel Fish should include marine algae, meat foods and spongiform products.
