The Cockatoo Waspfish colour is vary between red, yellow or brown.
A 100 L or larger aquarium with live rock is suitable. It uses the live rock for hiding in as well as for perching while looking for food. Tank mates should be passive fish including others of its own genera. It has venom glands attached to the dorsal, anal, and pelvic spines.
When first introduced into the aquarium, live feeder shrimp should be used to entice this fish to eat. The Cockatoo Waspfish diet consists of live foods such as feeder shrimp or frozen chopped meaty foods.
The Cockatoo Waspfish is Reef Safe with caution as they will prey on any small fish or crustaceans that will fit inot its mouth, however they will not harm any corals.
