The Dot Dash Rabbitfish is a medium/large rabbitfish which needs plenty of swimming space and clean water to thrive. They have golden and greenish-blue horizontal lines which become more numberous and scribbled/broken as they mature. Just before the caudal fin base is a distinct bright yellow spot. Although this certainly is a very beautiful fish to watch, remember it needs a large tank to really thrive.

In nature they live in schools which diminish by age. When kept solitary they can become quite shy, but this is not often the case. They are typically found in shallow water, scraping algae from rocks with their rabbit like mouth all day long. Like tangs, they will eat meaty foods, but it's important to make sure it can graze on algae/seaweed the entire day to make sure it will stay healthy. So feed algae flakes/pellets multiple times a day and make sure there is always seaweed available.
