The Red Spot Cardinalfish, is one of the smallest easy obtainable friendly schooling fish. Although their body is mostly transparant, they do have black and blue stripes and a very bright red spot just in front of the caudal fin, making it a colourful fish to see. This, combined with their size and friendly, reefsafe character, makes them one of the best fish if you want to have a schooling fish, but don't own a huge tank and/or deep pockets.

This fish is a real schooling fish and should not be kept in small number or they may become skittish.
