The Rock Damsel is mostly a pale yellow with a blue stipe down the dorsum, white bars form down its sides.

The Rock Damsel is one of the more aggressive and durable Damselfish species. They will not harm invertebrates or coral in the reef aquarium. 

The diet of the Rock Damsel should consist of flaked and frozen foods, and herbivore preparations.
