CaribSea Aragonite Oolite Sand is a premium, fine-grained substrate designed to create the bright, natural appearance of a tropical reef seabed.
With a typical grain size of just 0.25–1.0mm, its sugar-sized particles produce a smooth and refined sand bed that looks fantastic around Live Rock, EcoReef Rock and colourful corals.
Fine 0.25–1.0mm Grain
Oolite is one of the finer substrates in the CaribSea marine range.
Compared with Fiji Pink at 0.5–1.5mm, Oolite's smaller grain creates a softer and more uniform-looking sand bed, making it an excellent choice when a fine, clean reef substrate is preferred.
The fine texture is particularly effective in open areas of the aquarium, where it creates a striking contrast against reef rock and corals.
