TMC First Wave 78L – Complete Marine Aquarium Set
Discover the fascinating world of marine reef keeping with the TMC First Wave 78L, a stylish all-in-one aquarium combining modern design with integrated lighting and filtration.
Perfect for beginners or experienced aquarists seeking a compact reef display, the First Wave includes a protein skimmer, return pump and filtration media, making it easier to build your own marine aquarium.
Reef Ready LED Lighting
The integrated 54-LED lighting system provides 22W of marine illumination with a 14,000K colour temperature and 2,000-lumen output.
A natural lighting cycle includes sunrise, daylight, sunset and blue moonlight, beautifully enhancing marine fish and suitable soft corals.
Integrated Multi-Stage Filtration
The rear filtration chamber includes four types of filtration media:
-
Fine-pore filter pad to capture suspended debris
-
Activated carbon to help remove dissolved impurities and discolouration
-
Coarse-pore sponges for mechanical filtration
-
Ceramic bio-rings to support beneficial nitrifying bacteria
The filtration system is conveniently concealed behind the display.
Protein Skimmer & Return Pump Included
A 650L/h low-voltage DC return pump circulates water through the integrated filtration system, while the included DC protein skimmer helps remove dissolved organic waste.
A multi-directional outlet allows you to adjust the direction of the return flow.
Practical, Compact Design
The glass aquarium features a convenient lid with an integrated feeding port, allowing fish to be fed without removing the entire cover.
At 80.5cm wide, the First Wave 78L provides a longer viewing area and more aquascaping opportunities than the smaller 48L model.
