TMC Next Wave Reef Guard – Aquarium Jump Guard
Protect your marine fish and enjoy greater peace of mind with the TMC Next Wave Reef Guard Aquarium Cover, a purpose-designed protective cover for compatible TMC Next Wave marine aquariums.
Ideal for reef keepers housing wrasses, gobies, dartfish and other fish known for jumping, the Reef Guard helps reduce the risk of accidental escapes without spoiling the appearance of your aquarium.
Protect Your Marine Fish
Even healthy, settled marine fish can jump when startled, during territorial disputes or while feeding.
The Next Wave Reef Guard creates a protective barrier across the aquarium opening, helping keep fish safely inside their marine environment.
Designed for Next Wave Aquariums
Unlike generic aquarium covers, the Reef Guard is designed to complement the distinctive shape and layout of the TMC Next Wave range.
Its sleek, unobtrusive appearance preserves the open, contemporary look of your nano reef while providing practical fish protection.
Lightweight & Convenient
The cover is designed for straightforward installation and convenient removal when feeding, cleaning or carrying out routine aquarium maintenance.
Its low-profile construction makes it a practical addition to an established marine aquarium.
Optional Heat Retainer
For customers wishing to reduce water evaporation, TMC also offers a compatible Next Wave Reef Guard Heat Retainer, sold separately.
Used together, these accessories can help limit evaporation and reduce heat loss from the aquarium.
Choose Your Reef Guard
Select the version designed for your aquarium:
-
Next Wave 35 Reef Guard – For compatible 35L aquariums
-
Next Wave 60 Reef Guard – For compatible 60L aquariums
-
Next Wave 85 Reef Guard – For compatible 85L peninsula aquariums
Always select the correct size and check clearance around lighting brackets and other aquarium equipment.
Why Choose TMC Next Wave Reef Guard?
A well-fitting aquarium cover is a valuable investment for any open-top marine aquarium, particularly when keeping active or jump-prone fish.
The TMC Next Wave Reef Guard combines practical protection with a discreet design that complements your aquarium.
Protect your fish. Preserve your view. Enjoy your reef.
Aquarium, lighting and optional Heat Retainer are sold separately. No aquarium cover can eliminate every possibility of fish escape.
