Excellent little members of the clean-up crew. They spend much of the day impersonating pebbles, then emerge after lights-out and quietly get on with cleaning the tank.
Buying them is also unusually entertaining, as the Rock N Critters team often has to walk around the shop hunting through the coral displays for suitable specimens. I usually join in, bent over the shallow tanks, squinting through the glass until my back hurts and my crow’s feet deepen noticeably.
I could spend the money on a new glasses prescription, but apparently I’d rather keep returning to buy more marine livestock I can barely see.
Healthy, useful, and supplied in the usual excellent condition. Five stars for the snails, the service, and the complimentary eye test.
