 When you first get started keeping Saltwater it can get overwhelming really quickly. A great piece of advice I was given when I first started was "the hobby is really about keeping water, focus on keeping your parameters in check and the rest will fall into place". So that's what I did but there's so many parameters out there and so much conflicting advice about what to keep them at that it can still be pretty confusing. So, here's a quick rundown of the main parameters, what they mean and what can affect them plus at the end I'll reveal the ultimate reef keeping piece of advice!
